  7. gave short talks to players on game day.

  9. ΓÇ£As John tells it, Mike Ditka was about to deliver a locker room pep talk one day.

  11. He looked up and saw defensive tackle William ΓÇ£RefrigeratorΓÇ¥ Perry. How could

  13. he not see him? At 338 pounds the Fridge stood out even in a crowd of pro

  15. football players. Ditka gestured to the Fridge. ΓÇÿWhen I get finished,ΓÇÖ he said, ΓÇÿIΓÇÖd

  17. like you to close with the LordΓÇÖs Prayer.ΓÇÖ Then the coach began his talk.

  23. Prayer.ΓÇÖ Sure enough, Perry sat with a look of panic on his face, his head in his

  25. hands. He was sweating profusely. ΓÇÿEverybody knows the LordΓÇÖs Prayer,ΓÇÖ said

  27. Cassis to McMahon in disbelief.

  29. ΓÇ£After a few minutes of watching the Refrigerator leaking several gallons of

  31. sweat, McMahon nudged Cassis again. ΓÇÿIΓÇÖll bet you 50 bucks Fridge doesnΓÇÖt know

  33. the LordΓÇÖs Prayer.ΓÇÖ As Cassis tells the story, he stops to reflect on the absurdity of
